— Manifesto

We build the back office your firm never hired.

Most drafting work is repeatable, time-consuming, and too expensive to do at senior rates. We prepare the first draft with precision AI, have it reviewed by a lawyer licensed in the jurisdiction of your matter, and deliver it to you as a supervising lawyer — so you can spend your day on strategy, not boilerplate.

— What we believe

Four principles that shape every deliverable.

PRINCIPLE 01

Reviewed by a lawyer licensed where your matter sits.

AI does the first draft. A human with a practising certificate in the relevant jurisdiction — the applicable state bar, law society, or professional body — signs it off. Points that are unsettled or jurisdiction-sensitive are highlighted with a structured [VERIFY] marker so you always know where to apply your independent judgement. No output leaves the firm unreviewed.

PRINCIPLE 02

We support lawyers. We do not replace them.

Every deliverable is addressed to a supervising lawyer. We do not appear in court, we do not sign off on client advice, and we do not issue opinions directly. You are the lawyer of record; we are the research & drafting backbone.

PRINCIPLE 03

Transparent pricing. No scoping calls.

A flat-fee retainer covers a defined volume of work. Tiers move in one direction: you upgrade when you’re busy, downgrade when you’re not. We don’t bill in six-minute increments and we don’t hide pricing behind sales calls.

PRINCIPLE 04

Cross-border on one engagement.

Seven jurisdictions, one retainer, one invoice. Our reviewers hold common-law training across our target markets, so you stop referring cross-border matters to unfamiliar firms. One phone call, one brief, one deliverable.

— Who we work with

Built for the 2–5 lawyer firm and the lean legal team.

LegalDraft.org was built to solve one problem: small and mid-size firms have the same drafting workload as large firms but none of the infrastructure. Senior lawyers spend evenings on NDAs, research memos, and court forms that a well-run back office should handle.

We are that back office. Our clients are partners and in-house counsel who want to send fewer emails at 10pm, not more.

  • Solo & 2–5 lawyer firms across seven jurisdictions.
  • In-house legal teams at growth-stage companies managing cross-border work.
  • Boutique practices with a deep specialty and no administrative muscle.
  • Firms rebuilding their research & drafting capacity post-pandemic.
— The bench

The people behind every deliverable.

100+ Legal associates on our drafting bench, working across practice areas and jurisdictions.
300+ Lawyers in our global review network, reviewing deliverables for the jurisdictions they practise in.
